The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in identifying, acquiring, and developing profitable real estate projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen and extensive knowledge of the Southern California real estate market.

As a Real Estate Developer, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the development lifecycle, including market research, site selection, due diligence, financial modeling, securing entitlements, overseeing design and construction, and ultimately, the disposition or leasing of properties. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, external partners, government agencies, and investors to ensure successful project outcomes. • Identify and evaluate potential real estate development opportunities in the Los Angeles market.
• Conduct comprehensive market research, feasibility studies, and financial analysis for proposed projects.
• Manage the acquisition process, including negotiation of purchase agreements and site control.
• Oversee the due diligence process, including environmental, legal, and zoning reviews.
• Secure all necessary zoning, entitlements, permits, and approvals from local and state authorities.
• Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and strategic plans.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and legal counsel throughout the development process.
• Oversee construction management, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with investors, lenders, brokers, and other key stakeholders.
• Manage the marketing, leasing, or sales strategy for completed developments.
• Stay abreast of market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes impacting the real estate industry.

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in real estate development, with a strong focus on the Los Angeles market.
• Demonstrated success in originating, underwriting, and closing complex real estate development deals.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, pro forma creation, and investment analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of zoning laws, land use regulations, and entitlement processes in Southern California.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet aggressive deadlines.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with construction management and overseeing development teams.
• Strong network of industry contacts, including brokers, lenders, contractors, and government officials.
